Bio: Gabriel Pino is currently enrolled at the University of New Mexico, he is in the process of completing his sophomore year. Gabriel is pursuing a degree in the field of Communication and Journalism. Upon completion of his bachelors degree, he plans on pursuing a masters degree in coaching, also at the University of New Mexico. Gabriel would ultimately like to become a coach at the the collegiate level. Being that Gabriel has a passion for basketball, he has taken on the role of a practice player for the Lady Lobos Basketball team. By being allowed to practice and aid the Lady Lobos, he feels that he has helped them improve their skills, which has allowed them to play at a higher level. Gabriel plans pursuing any type of jobs or situations that he feels will help him to eventually become a collegiate coach.

What I Learned / Review of class:
When signing up for this course I had a feeling as to what it would entail. However, when we were presented with the mobile recording kits and there was an ipad I knew this was going to be a very informative class. This class has allowed myself the opportunity to work with various apps that help produce quality videos for journalism pieces. While all items learned in this class were very educating, the item that was of most use would be the method that was taught on how to put all the videos we produced onto Youtube directly from the ipad.
Coming into the class I had a somewhat understanding of the various forms to reach out to people using the internet. Surprisingly and with much gratitude I was introduced to WordPress, where I was allowed to create multiple videos. My personal favorite was the video that was created with my classmate, about the pilgrimage to Chimayo.. Another enjoyable assignment was the Curious New Mexico assignment using the videolicious app. My favorite videos created this semester can be viewed down below.
